    • Anna Ebben, age 83, of Appleton, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 9, 1930 to the late Edward and Magdalena Bollinger in Romania. On November 23, 1954, she married Edmund Ebben. In 1971 she became a U.S. Citizen. She enjoyed watching her wrestling on Monday and Friday nights, crocheting and knitting and going to the casino with her daughter Marilyn. She made numerous blankets for multiple charities and donated for many years to St. Judes, HHV (craft kits), Adopt a Platoon, American Lung Association in Wisconsin, Coalition to Salute America's Heroes (food) and Wounded Warriors Project. Anna was a member of St Pius X, and very strong in her faith. Above all of her passions and projects, her family was her whole world.

      She is survived by her children; Audrey (Michael) Wright, Harvey Sr. (Beth) Steven (Fiancé Cheri), Marilyn (Gill) Lands and Kenneth (Doreen), her grandchildren; Ricky, Matthew, Stacey, Jordan, Nicholas, Christina, Sarina, Harvey Jr., Synthea, Marie, Jason, Andrea, Bruce, Cynthia, Duane, and Crystal and their spouses, 17 great grandchildren, an 18th great grandchild due in December. She is further survived by her brother in law, William and sister in law Joann Ebben, and a sister in law, Frances Otte as well as numerous nieces and nephews, both here and in Germany, and other relatives and friends.

      Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edmund, son Ulrich, brother Herbert, niece, Barbra Jo Ebben and sister Erna (Heinrich) Beck. Also preceding her in death are her mother and father in law, Alegunda and John Ebben and brother in law, James Otte.

      Funeral services for Anna will be held at 11:30AM, Friday, September 13, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St. Appleton, with the Rev. Quinn Mann officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton, with a prayer service at 7:00PM. Visitation will continue Friday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the Church. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park.

      The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Russo and Staff at Kaukauna Clinic, the staff at Appleton Health Care, Especially her boys, Adam and Dave, Dr. Bar Lev and staff at the Martha Seikman Cancer Center, Theda Care at Home, Fr. Tom and Deacon Rick for all the times you prayed with us and mom, to Betty for all your visits and communion, June who was not only her CNA, but her friend.

      Mom, for a long time you have been both Mom and Dad to us. You have been there for each of us. You taught us that family is everything. You made sure we knew we were loved right down to the last great grandchild. We will forever miss you, but you will always be in our hearts. Thank you Mom for loving us and being not only our mom, but a best friend,
