Notes - ELKHORN -- Mrs. Dorothy C. Greiner, age 91, of County Rd. H, Elknorn, formerly of Appleton, WI, died Sun., Aug. 2, 1998 at home. Dorothy was the daughter of John and Adeline (Greenwood) Miron, born May 4, 1907 in Oconto Falls, WI. She married Clarence E Greiner Dec. 1933 in Iowa; he died July of 1996. Dorothy was active with Girl Scouts, Elks Club, a former member of the Riverview Country Club of Appleton , and belonged to the manhatten and the Century Dance Clubs. She loved to play cards and belonged to varous bridge clubs.
She is survived by 3 daughters: phyllis (Graham) Olson of Elkhorn, Pat Solbert of Seattle, WA, and Penny (Steve) Root of Oregon, WI; 8 grandchildren: Mike (Tammy), Jeff (Sue), Lars and Chris Olson, Angela (Tim) Meidl, Beth (Chris) Sandvoss, Phillip Root, and Eric Solberg' and 6 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler, Ross, Emma, Carter and Isabel. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Fri., Aug. 7, 1998 at the Appleton Highland Memorial Park Chapel, Appleton, WI. Visitation will be at the Chapel Friday from noon until the time of services. Arrangements were completed by Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home, Elknorn.
