    • Carol Neuman, 62, Mosinee, formerly of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point. She was born on May 2, 1948, in Black Creek, the daughter of the late Leslie and Corinne (Roche) Kitzinger. On May 13, 1972, Carol married Emil Neuman at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Appleton. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Carol enjoyed gardening, picking raspberries, rummage sales, and most of all, spending time with her family.

      Carol is survived by her husband, Emil Neuman, Mosinee; sisters, Betty (Al) Hottensine, Freedom, Joan (Jerry) Kizewski, Mosinee and Barbara Balthazor, Appleton; brothers, Ron (fiancee Mary Carew) Kitzinger and Ken (Pam) Kitzinger, both of Appleton; and special niece, Ashley Buss, Appleton. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, who all loved her dearly, other relatives and friends.

      The funeral liturgy for Carol will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence Street, Appleton. Father Larry Abler will be officiating. Interment will take place at Community Lutheran Cemetery, Freedom. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Carol's name.

      St. Pius X Catholic Church was the setting Saturday when Carol C. Kitzinger and Emil E. Neuman repeated wedding vows. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Kitzinger, 1101 W. Lindbergh St. and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Neuman, Shawano. Mrs. Allen Hottenstine was matron of honor with Miss Barbara Kitzinger, bridesmaid. Best man, Allen Hottenstine, was assisted by Calvin Balthazor, Ronald Kitzinger and David Roche. The couple greeted guests at the Country Aire, before leaving on a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Canada.
