      Gerald J. Hietpas, 2342 Conestoga Dr., Leesburg, Florida, age 69, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 1994. He was born in Little Chute, Wisconsin. Gerald moved to Leesburg, Florida in 1977 from Lakeland, Florida. He retired from Holiday World in Leesburg, Floriea, where he had worked as a salesman. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Leesburg, Florida; Moose Lodge, Oscala, Florida; and American Leagion Post No. 72, Leesburg, Florida. He servied in World War II and was a Korean Army Veteren.
      He was preceded in death by his parents; Bernard and Mathilda Hietpas; a brother, Vincent; and a step sister, Lorna Jost.
      Survivors include his wife, Julia, Leesburg, Florida; three sons, Terry and Russ, Leesburg, Florida; two daughters; Sharon [Pete] Sullivan, Winter Springs, Florida; Jina Hietpas, Leesburg, Florida; two brothers; Don and Marv Hietpas, Kaukauna; three sisters; Laverne Schumann, Fruitland Park, Florida; Gladys Jelenc, Largo, Florda; Mary Bork, Kaukauna; three grandchildren; Cami, Craig and John Sullivan, Winter Springs, Florida.
      The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 1994 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg, Florida with Father Ronald Oser Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home with a Biblical wake service at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Foundation of Lake and Sumter Inc.,] Beyers Funeral Home Leesburg Florida
