Murphy, Penny Lynn (Luft)
Penny Lynn (Luft) Murphy, Freedom, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, September 28, 2006. She was born September 5, 1965, in Ohio, the daughter of David and Melva (Davidson) Luft. On April 4, 2006, she was united in marriage to her best friend, Kenneth Martin Murphy in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Penny was employed with Humana in DePere. She enjoyed being with friends and family. Penny was very much looking forward to becoming a grandmother in March.
She is survived by her husband, Ken; her daughters, Tara Bowers, Oshkosh and Melissa Bowers, Kaukauna; her special friend, Bob Bowers, Freedom; her parents, David and Melva Luft, Janesville; a sister, Lorie (Kevin) Evers, Freedom; her brother, Mark (Tammie) Luft, Freedom; grandmother, Lydia Luft, Oshkosh; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marty and Pat Murphy, Freedom; brother-in-law, Tim Murphy; sisters-in-law, Linda (Rudy) Borneman, Laurie Gerritts, Donna (Jeff) Kolb, and Joe (Tracy) Murphy, all of Freedom. She is further survived by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, great-grandparents and a special friend.
Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom on Monday, October 2, 2006 from 1 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 5 p.m., with Father John Schuetze officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour is assisting the family.
