Notes - Richard Dick John Friebel, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. He was born on March 14, 1932 to the late Joseph and Regina (Hooyman) Friebel. Dick graduated from Kimberly High School and went on to serve his country in the US Navy. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he began his 34 year career at Kimberly Clark. Dick married Sylvia Schommer in 1955 and the two were married until her passing in 1987. He then married Karen Heimerman in 1988 and the two were married until her passing in 1995. Dick was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed doing both with his children.
He is survived by his children: Daniel (Diane) Friebel, Pete (Tyke) Friebel, Cheryl (Karl) Moede, John Friebel and Jill (Peter) Lortscher; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; sister, Margaret (James) Greely.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Sylvia and Karen; brother, Jerome Friebel; sisters, Ila Mae (George) Langenhuizen and Dorothy (Harry) Langenhuizen.
A celebration of Dicks life will be held at a later date.
