    • Robert Walter "Bob" Roepcke, age 69, of Kaukauna, died on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton. He was greeted at heaven's gates, not only by his beloved Savior, Jesus Christ, but other family members who have crossed from this life, to life eternal; his mother and father, his first wife: Alice; a brother: Gary (Lori) Roepcke; as well as many other family and loved ones.

Bob was born September 28, 1944 in Dubuque, IA, son of the late Walter & Clara (Ebben) Roepcke. He proudly served in the United States Army and following his discharge married Alice Nadler on April 1, 1967 in Chilton; she preceded him in death on October 15, 2009. Bob married Olivia Cotton on May 3, 2014 in Milwaukee.

Throughout his life, he drove semi for many local companies, and had most recently been driving for Phil's Pumping in Chilton. Bob was a member of In the Shelter of His Arms Church in Kaukauna where he studied the Word of God and served as an Elder bringing God's message of truth to all of the people around him.

He enjoyed his time outdoors hunting, fishing, and tending to his garden no matter where he lived. In his free time, Bob would be known to make batches of wine, which he could share with those he loved, and passionately watched the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and NASCAR Races. His devotion to his family and his work will never be forgotten by all those who knew him.

Survivors include his wife: Olivia; his children: David (Tohnja) Roepcke of Little Chute; Chad Roepcke of Chilton; 2 step-daughters: Kimberly Mayfield & Tamiko Richardson; 5 grandchildren: August, Nathaniel, Dyllan, Brandin, & Travis; 11 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great grandchildren; and 5 siblings: Cheri (Rick) Rietveld, Karen (Joe) De Jardine, Vern (JoAnn) Roepcke, Keith (Linda) Roepcke, Ken (Sheila) Roepcke. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
