- Arlene M. Laack, 74, of Greenleaf, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 1, 2011. She was born September 4, 1936, in Wrightstown to the late Clifford and Mildred (Meulemans) Arnoldussen. On July 12, 1956, she married Jerome Laack. Arlene was born and raised in Wrightstown having graduated from St. Paul Grade School and Wrightstown High School, as well as later from the Appleton Business School. She worked for many years at Kimberly-Clark, she then stayed home to raise her children, and did bookkeeping for Laack Cheese. Arlene then did bookkeeping in the Insurance Industry until retirement. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Wrightstown her entire life. Arlene loved to travel, especially winters in Florida and summers at the cottage in Lakewood. Her true passion was her family that she loved so dearly.
She is survived by her husband Jerry, her children; Jeffrey (Lynn) Laack, Mark Laack, Kim (Jeff) Vander Heiden, Kristy (Shawn) Wurzer, and Terry (Jesse) Hockers, as well as 12 grandchildren; Kristin, Connor, Mason, Mitchell, Courtney, Mariah, Kevin, Justine, Jordan, Bailey, Kaitlyn and Jacob. Her aunt Evelyn Blick, and Jerry's family; Frederick (Anna) Laack, Clintonville, Donna (Douglas) Geyso, Mary (Ken) Hermsen as well as numerous nieces and nephews survive.
Arlene was preceded in death by her brother Roland Arnoldussen.
Friends may call at St. Clare Catholic Church - St. Paul site in Wrightstown from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. to bring the evening to a close. Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr.
