Helf, Isabelle T. Isabelle T. Helf, "Belle", Kaukauna, age 76, died peacefully, Sunday, March 26, 2006, at her home after a long illness. She was born August 3, 1929, in Marquette, Michigan, the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Reid) Todd. On December 30, 1950, Belle married Richard W. Helf in Marquette, Michigan. The couple lived in the Kaukauna area their entire married life. Belle worked 39 years as a Registered Nurse at Kaukauna Community Hospital, retiring in 1994. She loved music and sang with Chaminade and her church choir for many years. Belle was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kaukauna and the Ladies Moose Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard and their five children: David (Pat) Helf, Brillion; Richard J. (Terry) Helf, Little Chute; Greg (Jann) Helf, Kaukauna; Carol (Ward) Stover, Columbiaville, MI and Wendy (Jon) Hofer, Farmington, CT; 12 grandchildren: Jennifer and Melissa Helf, Kristy (Fiancee Jason Kleinschmidt) and Brad Helf, Dan and Maggie Helf, Eric, Todd and Brian Stover, Ross, Sydney and Courtney Hofer; a brother, John (Joan) Todd, Wisconsin Rapids and a sister, Helen (Frank ) Tramp, Marquette, MI. She is further survived by her husband's family; Jim (Kathy) Helf, Jerry (Sherri) Helf, all of Appleton, Tom (Judy) Helf, Janet (Ray) Borree, all of Kaukauna, Nancy and Dr. Hank Peterson, Savannah, GA. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Helf and a brother-in-law, Robert Helf. The funeral service for Belle will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday March 30, 2006, at IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 510 Sullivan Ave., Kaukauna with Pastor Melinda Feller officiating. It was Belle's choice to be cremated. Friends may call directly at Church from 4 p.m. on Thursday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. The family wishes to express their thanks to Belle's doctors and caregivers, especially to Cherry Meadows and Hospice Homecare for their care and support.
