      Tuesday, March 22, 1988

      Mrs. Frank J. [Gertrude] Van Laanen Jr., 636 Brevoort Lane, Green Bay, died Sunday, March 20, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona after a short illness. The former Gertrude Hottinger was born July 7, 1899 in Chicago, Illinois to Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Hottinger.

      Survivors include two sons, Dolph Van Laanen, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Vance Van Laanen, Green Bay; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Mitchell. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. June 25, 1988 at St. John's the Evangelist Church, Green Bay. A memorial fund has been established for Virginia Mitchell.
