    • Phyllis M. Matuszak, age 80, of Seymour passed away Monday morning March 13, 2017 at Country Villa Assisted Living in Pulaski. She was born September 3, 1936, daughter of the late Harline and Grace (Tesch) Schmit.

      On April 30, 1955, she was united in marriage to Harvey Matuszak in Isaar. He preceded her in death March 11, 2014.

      Phyllis was a member of St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, Isaar. She enjoyed spending time at home with family and her dogs, Rex and Sox.

      She is survived by her children: Linda Matuszak, Karen (Duane) Zuleger, Dan (Malia) Matuszak, Chad (Cheryl) Matuszak; 10 grandchildren: Craig (Sara), Stacie (Brad), Amy (Jay), Crissy, Tammy, Dustin (Janelle), Danielle (Cody), Gage, Jordan and Jadin; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Carol (Carl) Hock, Bonduel; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: LaVerne Kons, Menasha; Eleanor Zakowski, Howard; Dorothy Kons, Neenah, Norbert Matuszak, Seymour; Alice Vanden Langenberg, Seymour; Anna Mae Matuszak, Oneida; Barbara Socha, Seymour; JoAnn (Bill) Vanden Langenberg, Oneida; Marilyn Socha, Seymour; Ronald Matuszak, Seymour; Deacon Richard (Margie) Matuszak, Seymour.

      Preceded in death by infant granddaughter; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William (Mary) Matuszak; brothers-in-law: LeRoy (Diane) Matuszak, Donald Matuszak, Joe Socha, Ralph Matuszak, Alvin Socha, Norman Kons, and Roger Zakowski; sisters-in-law: Mary, Joan, and Marlene Matuszak.

      Friends may call at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, Isaar on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 9 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
