    • Tatro, Stephen J 2003 Appleton Post Crescent dated 4/19/2003; Tatro, Stephen J., “Beaver”, Kaukauna Age 51, died unexpectedly on Thursday April 17, 2003 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born February 7, 1952 to the late Henry and Patricia (Hietpas) Tatro in Appleton. Beaver was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his two sisters, Nancy (Wayne) Steinbach and their children, Anne (Dave) Eldridge and Elizabeth Steinbach; Pat (Dennis) Dercks and their children, Scott Dercks, Sara (Scott) Musich and their children, Grace & Henry, Kimberly Dercks and Kristin Dercks; two brothers, Mark (Susan Vandehey) Tatro and their children Tara Tatro, Shaena Tatro and fiance Jamie Vandhandel, Chris (Don) Dix and Sara Vandehey; Mike (Bernedette) Tatro and their children, Zach, Bobbi and Lindsey. Beaver will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Bud and his grandparents, William and Margaret Hietpas and Elizabeth and Peter Tatro. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday April 22, 2003 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends will be received at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive on Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow services in the Parish Cemetery. A memorial is being established in Beaver’s name.The family would like to thank Dr. Philips, Dr. Winek and Dr. Nunn and the terrific staff on 3 South at AMC for all the care and compassion they gave Beaver.
