Mrs. Phoebe J. Middleton
Mrs Phoebe J. Middleton, 87, Hales Corners, died this morning at home. The daughter of the late Frank and Rose Garvey Van Laanen was born in Green Bay on April 12, 1893 and attended Green Bay Schools. On June 5, 1920 sh married J. Archabld Middleton. He preceded her in death on September 13, 1952.
Survivors are two sons, Vance, Lowell, Indiana; George, Reston, Virginia; one daughter, Myra Becker, Greebdale; one brother, Frank VanLaanen, Green Bay; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Funeral 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Ripon, with the Rev. John Schmitz officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Ripon. Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon
