Van Camp, Gerald J. Gerald J. Van Camp Sr., Freedom, age 72, died Tuesday, January 31, 2006. He was born November 28, 1933, to the late Frank and Magdalene (Biese) Van Camp in Town of Freedom. Jerry married the former Donna Mae Ludwig on August 11, 1955, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, she preceded him in death on January 18, 1989. He was a charter member of the Freedom Lions Club and past president serving from 1983-1984 and a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Jerry enjoyed farming and the outdoors, which led him to sell snowmobiles and deal cattle over the years. He is survived by his five children: Bob (Eileen) Van Camp and their three children: Travis (Iga), Jamie and Justin; Cindy (Dave) Kleuskens and their four children: Kyle, Karisa, Kory, Kelcie; Nancy (Rick) Van Gheem; Bill (Colleen) Van Camp and their two children: Jordan and Hayden; and Bud (April) Van Camp and their three children: Megan, Loren and Owen; a sister, Mary Van De Hey; three brothers: Glen (Theresa) Van Camp, Gene (Lori) Van Camp and Floyd (Joan) Van Camp; a brother-in-law, Melvin Ludwig and two sisters-in-law: Bede Ludwig, Marilyn Ludwig; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna, two brothers: Marcel and Alois Van Camp and five brothers-in-law: Richard (Regina), Robert (Donna), Joseph, Ronald and James Ludwig. Gerald's Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. on Friday February 3, 2006 at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Freedom with Fr. John Schuetze officiating. Friends will be received on Friday at Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 766-2099. The family would like to thank everyone that helped Dad with their love and support during his illness especially Dr. Kahn and his staff at the Marshfield Clinic. Dad, We love you, you are at peace in heaven with Mom, we will miss you, Bob, Cindy, Nancy, Bill and Bud.
