Notes - Viona A. Biese nee (Magdanz) Appleton Age 82, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2000. She was born in the Town of Saxeville on August 9, 1917, the daughter of Henry and Leona (Hertzfeld) Magdanz. On December 10, 1939 she was united in marriage to Edwin Biese. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her mother three sons: Ronald (Ruth), Weyauwega Richard, Appleton and James (Betty), Appleton four daughters: Beverly (Vernon) Evers, Greenville Eloise (David) Krause, Fremont Carol (Kieth) Rondou, Wild Rose Sarah (David) Huebner, Waupaca a brother, Albert Magdanz three sisters: Elna Magdanz, Waupaca La Vera Stauss, Kiel and Sylvia (Karelton) Borchardt, Menasha 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Edwin sister, Irma Buchholtz and grandson, John Rondou. Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 900 N. Mason Street, Appleton on Saturday, May 6, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. when family prayers will be held. A parish prayer service will be held Friday evening at the funeral home.
