- New London - Age 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Living Tree Estates, Greenville. She was born on December 2, 1940, in New London daughter of John and Lucille (Strong) Stutzman. Carol was raised in Hortonville and graduated from Hortonville High School in 1958. On May 31, 1958, Carol was united in marriage to Raymond Guyette at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Carol and Ray lived in New London until 1976 when they built their dream house in Manawa. They were well known for their holiday decorations and parties. She enjoyed working around the house and yard; making it home for her children and grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her children: Randy (Christine Wellens) Guyette; Ryan (Fran) Guyette; René (Wade) Swinton; Raegen Prahl; a brother in-law, Hugh Samson; sister in-law, Bernice (Leonard) Beyer and sister in-law, Edna Guyette. She is further survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray, son Rodney Steven; a sister Judy Samson; mother and father in-law, Fred and Jeanette Guyette and brother in-laws, Walter Guyette and Harland Guyette.
Funeral Mass for Carol will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cline Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Fr. John Kleinschmidt officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Living Tree Estates, Greenville, where Carol resided the past year, for their compassion, patience and on ending support. They would also like to thank the 3rd floor nurses at Appleton Medical Center.
