Notes - Marjorie M. Helander (Luniak) was just a few days shy of her 70th birthday when she lost her battle with cancer but then gained her place with our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Surrounded by family and friends, she leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Frank, daughters Laura Socia (Scott), Amy Roberts (Tom), two granddaughters, Sita Catherine and Josephine Brux Roberts, one brother, ten sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ethel (Brux) Luniak, nephew Jay Luniak and son-in-law Christopher T. Shumaker. A celebration of life will be held at Black Creek Baptist church at 6289 McClellan road, Mechanicsville at 2pm on January 21, 2017 the day of her actual birthday. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your favorite charity .
