- A Wrightstown Farmer, Leon Van De Hey of Rt. 3 Highway D, De Pere, was pronounced dead on arr ival at a Green Bay hospital after the tractor he was driving rolled down a slope, and pinne d him underneath. Funeral services for Van De Hey, 31 will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday at St. Paul's Catholic Churc h. According to the Brown County Sheriff's Dept., Van De Hey was leveling a slope preparatory t o hay cutting, and came to close to the slope's edge. The tractor flipped sideways and rolle d about 30 feet down the slope. pinning Van De Hey underneath. After the tractor was lifted , A Brown County Deputy began CPR in an effort to revive Van De Hey, but was unsuccessful. the Rev. Richard Shafer will officiate at the services in Wrightstown, and burial will be i n the parish cemetery. Mr. Van De Hey was born October 15, 1952, in Green Bay, the son of Amos and Mary (Van Camp) V an De Hey. He attended St. Paul's Elementary School and graduated from the Wrightstown High School with the Class of 1970. He was engaged in farming, and also served as the secretary o f the Holy Name Society of St. Paul's Church.

Rt. 3, De Pere
Age 31, died Tuesday afternoon, August 7, 1984, the result of a tractor accident. He was born October 15, 1952, in Green Bay, the son of Amos and Mary [Van Camp] Van De Hey. He attended St. Paul Elementary School and graduated from Wrightstown High School in 1970. He was engaged in farming and secretary of the Holy Name Society of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his parents, seven brothers and four sisters in-law, Paul and Karen, Pat and Delores, Dan and Sue, David and Barbara, all of Wrightstown; Joe, Illinois; Chris and Brian, at home; seven sisters and five brothers in-law, Rosemarie and Gerald Hietpas, Little Chute; Kathleen and Tom Pehowski, Cedarburg; Elaine and Tom Jones, Minnesota; Judy and Ken Caelwaertz, Green Bay; Lois and Tim Smits, Appleton; Eileen and Mary, at home.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown with the Rev. Richard Shafer officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Friends may call at the DeWane Funeral Home in Wrightstown, after 2:30 p.m. Thursday. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
