Armilla M. Jankowski (Ari), age 97, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Oak Park Place in Menasha. Ari was born on August 9, 1925, to the late Simon and Elizabeth (Luniak) Resch. Ari was employed by Kimberly-Clark for many years before retiring. She loved doing crafts including ceramics and seasonal decorations. Ari and her husband, Bob, enjoyed being Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause for many years.
Ari will be missed by her brothers-in-law Joseph (Jeanine) Jankowski and Jerome (Marge) Jankowski, her many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Jankowski, brothers: Edward, Irvan (Geneva), Wilfred (Elsie), Ambrose (Margaret), Marcellin (Leone); and sisters: Kathleen, Margaret, Dorothy (Clarence) Zielinski and Priscilla.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, with Fr. Michael Lightner officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until the time of the services at church. Interment will take place at St. John Cemetery in Fox Crossing.
The family would like to thank the staff at ThedaCare Hospice and Oak Park Place for all the care and compassion they provided to Ari.
