Uhlenbrauck, Norbert G. (Babe)
Norbert G. (Babe) Uhlenbrauck, 91, Appleton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Friday, April 9, 2010, at Fox River Assisted Living. Norb did not consider retirement but instead, he and Joyce owned and operated the Westmoor Motel in Manitowoc as well as several apartment buildings in Appleton. He loved nature and always had a few bird feeders within his view to enjoy watching the birds come and go. Norb and Joyce spent many Saturday evenings dancing at the Cinderella ballroom with their many friends. Being an avid card player, the family gatherings usually concluded with a fun game of Sheepshead.
