Ebben (nee Van Schindel), 74, formerly of Little Chute, Wis., was from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road), Bartlett. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. today, in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton. Born Nov. 18, 1932, she died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at her home. Joan loved sewing and golf. She was the wife of Kenneth; mother of Sue (Greg) Cramsey of Warrenville, Amy White of La Crosse, Wis., and Rob of Harrisburg, Pa.; daughter of the late William and the late Gertrude (nee Timmers); sister of Joyce (the late Tom) Melby of Appleton, Wis., and Char (Bill) Marquardt of Appleton; grandmother of Katie (Jeff) Buydos of Bloomington, Ill., Jenny and Joey of Warrenville and Abby; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Ebben, Joan N. Joan N. (Van Schindel) Ebben, age 74, passed away August 6, 2007, at home. She was a former resident of Little Chute, WI. She was born November 18, 1932. She loved sewing and golf.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughters: Sue (Greg) Cramsey, Warrenville; Amy White, La Crosse, WI; son, Rob, Harrisburgh, PA; sisters: Joyce (late Tom) Melby, Appleton, WI; Char (Bill) Marquardt, Appleton; grandchildren: Katie (Jeff) Buydos, Bloomington, IL; Jenny and Joey, Warrenville and Abby; many nieces and nephews.
