    • Darboy, age 70, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at his home, while working in the shop he loved. He was born in Appleton on April 27, 1941, son of the late Clement and Louise (Huelsbeck) Hank. Tom graduated from Kimberly High School in 1959. On April 23, 1963 he married the former Karen Hamm at St. Pius Catholic Church in Appleton. The couple lived in Darboy their entire married lives, building a home on the family farm. Tom worked for the Outagamie County Highway Department for 38 years, retiring in July of 1998.

Tom enjoyed fishing, gardening, Sunday breakfast with the guys at the Darboy Family Restaurant, bowling, fireworks and being the "neighborhood mechanic". He took pride in watching his grandchildren's sporting events, recitals and other activities. He was also an avid Kimberly High School sports fan. Tom was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, at Holy Angels Church in Darboy where he was extremely proud of his involvement in the "Grandpa Patrol" as well as his accomplishments as the carpenter for Spirit of Christmas.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen, Darboy; their children: Lisa Heraly, Darboy, Lori (George) Schreiber, Darboy, Todd (Tammy), Darboy, and Leah (Tyler) Mitchell, Colorado; grandchildren: Justin and Nicholas Ducat, Abby, Anne, and Maggie Schreiber, Morgan and Jacob Hank, Evelyn Mitchell and (soon-to-be) baby sister, Ryan, Kayla and Megan Heraly; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Linda) Hank, Little Chute; numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his wife's 2 sisters and brother-in-law: Mary Webster, Appleton and Joan (Joseph) Weyers, Kaukauna.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer, a son-in-law, William Heraly, and brother-in-law, Robert Webster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 27, 2012 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH at HOLY ANGELS CHURCH, W2796 Highway KK, Darboy with Fr. Dave Beaudry officiating. Friends may call on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at which time a Parish Prayer Service will conclude the evening. Friends may call again at church from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until the time of service. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

Family would like to thank the Town of Buchanan First Responders, Outagamie County Sheriff's Department and their neighbors, especially then Naranjo family.
