      Mueller, John (Jack)

      Pickerel, Wisconsin Age 83, died September 3, 2001. He was born July 15, 1918, in Appleton, son of Max and Rose (Schultz) Mueller. He married Barbara C. Lucassen on May 24, 1941, at St. John Church in Little Chute. He was employed at Mueller Sheet Metal Company in Appleton and lived in Appleton until retiring to Pickerel Lake and Eustis, Florida. He was a member of St. Joseph's in Appleton and St. Mary's in Pickerel. He attended St. Joseph grade school, Appleton High School and Milwaukee School of Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army in Guadalcanal. Survivors besides his wife include a daughter, Karen (Ronald) Phillips, Menasha; a son, Steven (Chrissy), Greenville; two grandchildren, Max (Kate) Mueller, Onalaska; Daniel (Jody) Mueller, Readfield. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be held 11:30 a.m. September 12 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel, with Father Jerome Taddy officiating. Jack loved to hunt and fish and bowl. He enjoyed many good times with his family and friends, who will miss him very much.
