Funeral services for William Lucassen, 86, of 654 Fern St., will be held Wednesday, January 23, 1985, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Lucassen died at 3 a.m. Sunday, January 20, 1985, after a short illness. Born June 30, 1898, in Little Chute, he had been a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and an Honorary member of the American Legion Post No. 258.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Elaine) Demerath of Little Chute; one brother, Norbert of Little Chute; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Olson of Little Chute, Mrs. Jack (Barbara) Mueller of Florida, Mrs. George (Margaret) Wolter of California; Mrs. Al (Rosemary) Loiselle of Kimberly; one granddaughter, Mrs. Jean (Gloria) Behrendt of Freedom; and two great granddaughters, Connie and Brenda Behrendt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, in 1981 a son, Ervin, in 1945, and a sister, Mrs. Peter (Emma) Vander Loop. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, from 4-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday. The prayer service will be held at 6:30 this evening.
