Age 65, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 28, 2002 at his home. Bob loved his wife and family and enjoyed their company. He enjoyed cooking, wood working, gardening and camping. Bob was very proud of his years of service in the United States Marine Corps.
Bob is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth a daughter, Vicky (Tom) Jacoby, Plover and their two children: Stacy and Jason a son, Bob (Patty), Greenville and their two children: Cody and Collin a brother, Leroy (Florence), Appleton three sisters: Henrietta Meyer, Appleton Loretta Derks, Darboy and Theresa Hile, Milpitas, California. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Anton Hoffman and Virginia Vanden Hogen and a brother, Jerome Hoffman.
The funeral service will be Thursday, January 31, 2002 at the funeral home at 7 p.m. with Deacon Maury Reed officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
A memorial fund is being established.
