Carl Grafmeier 1206 Hoover Ave. Little Chute
Age 77, died at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 1986, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 15, 1909, in Kaukauna. He was employed by Kimberly Clark Corporation until his retirement in 1973. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the Quarter Century Club, and the Little Chute and Combined Locks Golden Agers.
Survivors include two daughters and a son in-law, Lois and Jerome Evers, Kaukauna; and Carol Swanningson, Little Chute; two sons and daughters in-law, Ronald and Pat Grafmeier, Combined Locks, and Gerald and Jeanette Grafmeier, Appleton; two brothers, John Grafmeier, Kimberly;l and Mark Grafmeier, Kaukauna; 15 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Grafmeier; his wife, Ida, in 1982; a son, Daniel in 1948l and a son in-law, Richard Swanningson in 1980.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 1986 from St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with the Rev. Paul Radetski officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna; Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Monday. A memorial fund will be established.
