      Betty Jane Weyenberg 929 Hunt Ave. Neenah

      Age 80, died peacefully Saturday, May 6, 2001, at her home following a short illness with her family by her side. She was born December 16, 1920, in Stanley, Wisconsin, daughter of Anthony and Eva [Mahoney] Diedrich. She married Jerry H. Weyenberg, July 1, 1939, and he preceded her in death September 21, 1974. Betty was a member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and was proud of her Irish heritage. Mrs. Weyenberg was a graduate of Neenah High School and was employed at Advocap prior to her retirement.

      She is survived by a daughter, Sandee [Rich] Canapary, Pahrump, Nevada; a son, Greg [Gloria] Weyenberg, Neenah; and two grandchildren, Scott and Sue Meyer, and Patrick Weyenberg, all of Neenah; a great grandchildren, Christopher Meyer; a sister, Colleen [Bill] Russell, Neenah; and nieces, nephews and other relatives, and also her faithful little companion, Muffin.

      She was preceded in death by her mother ad father; three sisters, infant Nadine, Harriet Tews, and Gwen Cox.

      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at St. Gabriel Church, Neenah with Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A visitation will also be held at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
