      Age 71, died Saturday evening after a brief illness. He was born July 10, 1907 in Kaukauna. He had been employed at the Kimberly Clark Corporation, for 33 years when he retired in 1966. Mr. Kavanaugh was a member of the Quarter Century Club of Kimberly Clark, and of the Outagamie County Board of Supervisors for 20 years until his retirement and the completion of his term in 1978. During that time he served on most of the board committees with extensive service on the Agriculture, Extension, Education and Zoning Committees. He was a lifelong resident of the city and was a graduate of Kaukauna High School and the Outagamie County Teachers College. Survivors include his wife, Mary McCormick Kavanaugh; three sons: Dennis, Des Moines, Iowa; Patrick, Oshkosh; Kevin, at home; a grandson, Justin Kavanaugh, Oshkosh; a sister, Mrs. Joseph (Kitsy) Gertz, Kaukauna; two brothers: Pat and Emmet, both of Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. The funeral will be at 10:30 am. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Mike Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 2 p.m. Monday where there will be a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
