- Wilhelmina E. "Willie" Kerkhof-Christiaanse, Combined Locks, age 90, died at her home on Monday, January 30, 2017. She was born in the Netherlands on May 6, 1926 to the late Johannes and Cornelia (Vial) Jansen. Willie married Peter Kerkhof on August 28, 1951 in Amersfoort, Netherlands. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1989. She married Martin Christiaanse on March 11, 1994. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2008. Willie enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was a member of the St. Paul Mission Club. She also liked to bake and travel. Willie loved growing things and was able to garden right up to the end of her life. In her younger years, her family enjoyed Sunday drives together, always stopping at McDonald's for a treat.
Willie is survived by her children: Miranda (Wayne) Case of Elkhorn; Bill (Ann) Kerkhof of Kimberly; and John (Kari) Kerkhof of Darboy; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Peter and Martin, Willie was preceded in death by her siblings: Joseph (Antonia) Jansen, Johanna (Albertos) Van T Erve and Bernardina (Hendrik) Epping.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at ST. PAUL PARISH (410 Wallace St. Combined Locks) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until the time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev.
