Franck, Barbara A. nee Hietpas
Little Chute
Loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Wednesday January 28, 2009, at the age of 66, at Cherry Meadows Hospice. She was born in Little Chute on November 26, 1942, to the late Fred and Margaret (Loerke) Hietpas. On June 28, 1968, Barb married John H. Franck at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Appleton. Together they celebrated 37 years of marriage. He preceded her in death September 27, 2005. Barb worked for AdVantage and E.K. Williams. She last worked at Strategies until her retirement in 2006. Barb enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, road trips with friends, and good times with friends and family at their weekend home in Sturgeon Bay.
Barbara is survived by her sons: Douglas (Kelly) of Kennesaw, GA and Robert (Jackie) of Little Chute; grandchildren: Katelyn, Ryan, Alyse, Lucas and Emily, and was looking forward to the birth of Tyler; brothers: Larry (Gina) and Dave (Julie) Hietpas; brother and sister-in-law: Paul Franck and Mary (John) Wisneski; and nieces and nephews: Megan, Nick and Forest Hietpas, Peter and Lori Franck, Sara and Christa Wisneski. She is further survived by many friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents and her father and mother-in-law, Wilmer and Doris Franck.
Visitation will be held Saturday January 31, 2009, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev. David J. Funk, O.F.M. Cap. will officiate. Deacon Vincent De Groot will concelebrate. Committal St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. The family would like to thank the many beloved friends who have supported Barb over the years in her many trials as well as the dedicated staff at Fresenius Dialysis Services of Appleton, Appleton Medical Center and Cherry Meadows.
You have lived selflessly on earth serving others. Now rest easy in the arms of the Lord knowing your work is done.
