- Mildred L. St. Cyr Silly Millie W5229 Quarry Road, Town of Center
Age 79, died on Thursday, February 21, 2002. at Appleton Medical Center. Mildred was born in Little Chute on December 6, 1922, daughter of the late Henry and Nellie (Lamers) Spierings. She married Raymond St. Cyr on January 26, 1946, in Appleton. Mildred and Raymond enjoyed nearly 50 wonderful years of marriage; he preceded her in death on October 5, 1995. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Mildred was well known for her maternal and household abilities and her love of family and friends. She was retired from AAL and enjoyed card-playing. Mildred will be greatly missed by her children, Kathleen Borchardt; Carolyn Nunenkamp; Janis Baulch; Michael (Jill) St. Cyr; and Christine St. Cyr (Patrick Poehls); her grandchildren, Eric (Brenda), Kerry (Dan), Sarah (Brad), Brian (Amy), Deanna, Tara, Andy, Dan, Penny, Collin, Chad, David, Jessie, Nicholas and Tommy; her great-grandchildren, Alex, Madison, Olivia, Brandon, Aaron and Austin; her sisters, Betty Dietzen; Florence (Leroy) Meinhardt; and Theresa Berg; her brothers-in-law, Dick (Kathy) Peterson, Silver Baumann, Frank (Marilyn) St. Cyr, and Larry St. Cyr, Harold (Therese) St. Cyr and her sister-in-law, Vivian St. Cyr; she is further survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family members. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth St. Cyr; her sisters, Grace Peterson and Marie (Earl) Young, and her brothers- and sisters-in-law, George Dietzen, Leo Berg, Leah Baumann, Ann St. Cyr, Floyd St. Cyr and Stella (Clarence) Ellsworth. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 23, 2002, at ST. EDWARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, Highway 47, Mackville, with Fr. Charles Brooks officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday, February 23, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in her name.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Amy Servais, Dr. Maria Aristigueta, Dr. William Guenther, and the staff at AMC who comforted Mom during her stay. They would also like to thank the ThedaCare at Home Volunteers, especially Letha, Jean, Kristine, Lynn and Karen for assisting Christine as a loving caregiver and everyone who gave love and support to our family.
