Kaukauna Times -- Word received here tells of the death, of Mrs. John Geurts, 46 years o f age, well known town of Rockland resident and mother of Fred Geurts of Kaukauna, which occu rred in a Green Bay hospital following amputation of her left leg. The amputation became nece ssary when infection developed from diabetes. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aerts, and was born in De Pere June 1, 18 85. Her parents died within the past ten years. Survivors are her widower; eight children, Mrs. G. Gerrits of Rockland, Fred Guerts of Kaukau na, Mrs. Ella Van Rossum of Little Chute, Mrs. Carl Daul of Freedom, George, Wilbur, Marion a nd Rosella at home; two brothers, Christian Aerts of Wrightstown and Frank Aerts of De Pere a nd five sisters, Mrs. Henry Vander Bloomen of De Pere, Lena Geurts of Sturgeon Bay and Mrs. M oe Goffard of the town of De Pere. Funeral services are to be held at 9o'clock Saturday morning from the St. Paul's church at Wr ightstown. Burial will be in the Wrightstown Catholic cemetery. De Pere Journal -- --- Requiem mass was offered up by Rev. Wagner of St. Norbert Abby, in t he absence of pastor Rev. Father Buytaert, and burial in the family lot in Mount Calvary ceme tery at De Pere. The following nephews acted as pallbearers; Lawrence Aerts, Alfred Aerts; F rank Geurts, Leo Geurts, Louis Brice and Norbert Vander Bloomen. There were many spiritual an d floral bouquets and a large concourse of morning relatives and sympathizing friends followe d the remains to their last resting place. Mrs. Geurts is survived by her husband, three son s and five daughters and two brothers and five sisters, to whom sincere sympathy is extended .
