      Richard H. Lamers, 2218 N. Superior St., Appleton, age 58, died at 7:55 Friday morning following a short illness. He was born November 14, 1922 in Little Chute and lived in Appleton most of his life. He was formerly employed at Wieseler Construction Company, and for the past 15 years at Bartel Insulation Supply Incorporated. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 38, and a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.

      Survivors include two sons; Dennis John, Appleton; Stephen, New London; his father; Theodore Lamers, Little Chute; a brother; Clifford, Kimberly; a stepbrother; Francis Mollen, Kaukauna; a sister; Mrs. Norbert [Eva] Conrad, Freedom; two step sisters; Mrs. Vernon [Ruth] Palmann, Neshkoro, Wisconsin; Mrs. Bill [Mary] Liskow, Neenah; a grandson; Ryan Lamers, his close friend, Ethel 'Sis' Hilander, Sturgeon Bay.

      The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home.
      Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 until 9 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 Monday morning until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
