- Norbert "Nubs" LeNoble Post Lake Was called home by his heavenly father on Thursday, October 5, 2000. He was born November 8, 1923, in Bear Creek, the son of the late Reinhart and Bertha (Hermans) LeNoble. He married Helen Spierings on October 16, 1948 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. Nubs served in the U.S.
Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 258, Little Chute for 44 years. He was a self- employed plasterer in the Fox Valley area for 40 years and retired to Post Lake in 1979.
He enjoyed his family and friends and the special times they shared. He loved to laugh, fish, play cards and work. His family will dearly miss him, including Helen (Spierings), his loving wife of 52 years daughters and sons, Linda LeNoble-Kern, Kaukauna Ken (Marlene) LeNoble, Tustin Lois (Phil) Van Eyck, Gresham Lu (Biddy) Pommerening, Menasha Cindy LeNoble- Zornow, Combined Locks Kevin (Julie) LeNoble, Darboy Cheryl (Kevin) Mulry, Menasha Charlene (Kirk) Hackmaster, Menasha 24 grandchildren a great- grandchild three sisters, Frances (George) Vissers, Minnie Rollo and Hattie Flemming, all of Little Chute a brother, Raymond LeNoble, Kaukauna two sisters-in-law, Marge LeNoble and Imogene LeNoble, Clintonville. Nubs was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Charlie, Jake, Bill and Joe. Funeral services will be Monday, October 9, 2000, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho with the Rev. Jerome Taddy officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 9-11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho. The Little Chute American Legion Post will conduct military graveside rites at the Elcho Cemetery. A special thanks to the doctors and ICU staff of Wausau Hospital. It's all part of the journey, now he has the wings of an Angel. Bradley Funeral Home, Antigo, Wisconsin, is assisting the family with arrangements.
