      Aerts, Ronald C.


      Ronald C. Aerts, 67, Wrightstown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010. Son of the late Alfred and Dorothy (Klika) Aerts was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Green Bay. Ron graduated from Wrightstown High School with the Class of 1960, and went on to NWTC for printing, and also received his CDL license. Ron worked for Gene Frederickson Trucking until he retired in 2006.

      Ron was an avid woodcarver and sports fan and he especially enjoyed watching the Packers. He also enjoyed taking trips up north to his cabin where he loved hunting and fishing, particularly ice fishing.

      Survivors include his brothers and sisters, Mary Jane (Ron) Smith, Carol (Melvin) Liebergen, Norma Aerts, Rose (Don) Coenen, Leo (Mary) Aerts and Dennis (Mary) Aerts; sister-in-law, Bonnie Aerts; special aunt, Babe Pansier; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

      Ron is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gerald Aerts; niece, Nikki Verbeten; and brother-in-law, Gerald VerBockel.

      Family and friends may call Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at St. Clare Parish/St. Paul Catholic Church, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown, from 3 p.m. until the hour of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 6 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Bob Kabat officiating. DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
