- Former Dairy Operator Dies; Rites Saturday
Robert L. Vanden Heuvel Services at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross

Robert L. Vanden Heuvel, Sr., 66, former owner and operator of the Mellow Gold Dairy in Kaukauna, died Wednesday evening, December 27, after a brief illness. A resident of Kaukauna for more than 30 years, Mr. Vanden Heuvel had resided at 312 Delanglade St.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the Rev. William Vander Heyden of Oshkosh, nephew of the deceased, officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Vanden Heuvel was born September 30, 1912 in Little Chute, and graduated from Lawrence School of Business, Appleton. He had operated the Mellow Gold Dairy until 1969.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Carol) Vander Heyden, and Mrs. Lloyd (Joan) Baeten, both of Kaukauna; a son, Robert L. Vanden Heuvel, Jr., of Kaukauna; two brothers, Joseph F. Driessen of Appleton and Earl Driessen of Little Chute; a sister Mrs. William (Stella) Schuh of West Allis; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita in 1974; a son, John Michael; a grandson; and three sisters, Ceil Dorn, Stella Fielden, and Rella Jansen.
Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today (Friday). There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. today.
