JOSEPH KERRY DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Was Lifetime Resident; Employee of Thilmany Paper Company for 36 Years
Joseph Kerry, 61, 804 Lawe street, a lifelong Kaukauna resident, died at his home at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon following an illness of seven months.
Born here December 14, 1885, he attended Holy Cross school and was a member of the Holy Cross church. For the past 36 years he was employed by the Thilmany Pulp and Paper company as a carpenter and in later years as a construction superintendent.
Survivors are his wife; four sons, Melvin, Michigan City, Indiana, Robert, Little Chute, and Jack and Arthur, Kaukauna; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Rothe, Appleton; Mrs. Barbara Gruber, Indianapolis, Indiana; and Miss Marie Kerry and Mrs. Fred Wittmann, Kaukauna, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the Holy Cross church, the cortege forming at 10:30 at the Kerry home, 804 Lawe street. The Rev. Andrew Quella will be in charge. Burial will be in the Holy Cross cemetery. Friends may call at the Kerry home.
