Florus was born on March 24, 1935, in Wrightstown, the daughter of George and Julia (Kerkoff) Arnoldussen, the 6th child of 6. She married Robert Weyenberg at St. Nicholas Church in Freedom on October 28, 1954. They had 6 children together. Florus worked at Zwickers and Thilmany Paper Mill before starting their family, and Anchor Foods for a short time after raising her children. She loved to travel with her husband and family, including trips to Washington DC, Yellowstone, cruises, Puerta Vallarta and many winters in Las Vegas and Florida. Rummage sales and estates sales, especially in the Dreamer, were her favorite hobbies, along with trips to the casino and cocktail hours. She was also Bob's favorite cheerleader during his numerous years of playing sports.

Florus is survived by her husband, Robert; six children: Marilyn (Gary) Brockman, Freedom; Gary Weyenberg, Appleton; Bev (Neil) VerVoort, Town of Vandenbroek; Nancy (Mike) Heindl, Freedom; Peggy (John) Huss, Darboy; Vicki (Dan) Verhasselt, Sheboygan; her 14 grandchilren: Chad (Kim) Brockman, Bob (Lucy) Brockman, Christopher Brockman, Nicole (Paul) Keckhaver, Kyle (Katie) Weyenberg, Alicia Rieth, Brad (Nikki) VerVoort, Sara (Brad Brezinski) VerVoort, Tyler (Jamie) Heindl, Tanner (Haley) Heindl, Travis Huss, Savanna (Kullin) Hoffman, Noah Verhasselt and Danny Verhasselt; her great-grandchildren: Summer, Brielle, Logan, Carter, Caden, Corbin, John, Emmet, Benjamin & Finley; siblings: Mike and Fabian Arnoldussen, her in-laws: Shirley (Joe) Geurts, Gene (Donna) Weyenberg, Loretta Arnoldussen and Pat Grady and many nieces, nephews, friends and special neighbors (especially the Jadin Family).

She was preceded in death by her parents Julia and George Arnoldussen; her step father, Les Newhouse; her father and mother-in-law Eugene & Polly Weyenberg; her siblings: Juline Grady, Hillary Arnoldussen, Bert Arnoldussen, her twin sister at birth, and her sisters-in-law: Iris and LaVerne Arnoldussen.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:00 p.m., with Fr. Walter Stumpf presiding. Burial will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Nicholas Cemetery. A memorial has been established to support the Saint Nicholas Building Expansion and Alzheimer's Research. Friends and family are invited to wear purple to support the disease.

The daughters would like to thank their dad for his excellent care of their Mom. He has been the most devoted husband, friend, partner, and caretaker any wife could ever ask for. He has set the most beautiful example of what his wedding vows meant to them. We hope we can walk proudly in his footsteps.

Bob and his family would like to thank the Affinity Hospice team, especially Tessa and PennySue, for assisting with caretaking the last several weeks of Florus' life. Florus is now with God and the angels in heaven but the angels here on earth will never be forgotten.

Mom, you were always there for us, in good times and in bad. Whenever we called, you gave us the best advice. Even when you could no longer tell us, we always knew you loved us. You were the greatest mom, love you forever.
