    • William F. (Bill) Bolwerk, Kimberly, age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 with family by his side. He was born December 9, 1931 in Combined Locks, to the late George and Marie (Van Cuyk) Bolwerk. On January 27, 1953, he was united in marriage to Celestine (Sally) Van Dinter at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. They celebrated 62 years and 1 day together. Bill grew up in Kimberly and worked at the Kimberly mill for 25 years, from June 1951 - January 1977. He served in the National Guard for eight years. In 1977 he moved to Texas to work for Texas Utilities where he was very proud of his accomplishments, retiring in 1992 as a maintenance foreman. He and Sally then moved back to Kimberly. Bill enjoyed volunteering for the Kimberly Fire Department from 1955 to 1977 (and yelled at his kids for following the fire trucks on their bikes), St. Joseph Food Program, St. Paul Nursing Home, Appleton Medical Center, and Robinson Florist. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed car rides, a good story, golfing, playing many card games including poker with the guys, bowling, and loved to tell jokes. Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was honored to be a grand knight. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks and served as Eucharistic Minister.

      He is survived by his wife Sally, children: Janet (Dixon) Kuchenbecker, Shawano; David (Carol) Bolwerk, Cedarburg; Lynn (Lee) Fish, Appleton; Jean (Adrian A.) Vanden Acker, Appleton; Michael P. (LeAnn) Bolwerk, Beckville TX; Don (Madeline) Bolwerk, Forney TX; his beloved grandchildren: Jon Kuchenbecker, Jill (Scott) Manteufel, Andrew Bolwerk, Aaron Bolwerk, Jacob Bolwerk, Jennifer (Doug) Pomrening, Jason Fish, Jeff Fish, Mark Maas, Heather Vanden Acker, Jason Vanden Acker, Christopher Bolwerk, Joshua Bolwerk, David (Lisa) Bolwerk, Brandon (Megan) Bolwerk, Thomas (Breanna) Bolwerk; and great-grandchildren: Payton, Kristin, Tyler, Carson, Callie, Lindsay, Nate, Andrew, Kevin, and Collin. He is also survived by a sister Adriana (Hank) Evers, Kaukauna; brothers John Bolwerk, Gwinn MI; Henry (Mary) Bolwerk, Combined Locks; Bob Bolwerk (special friend Marge Wippich), Kimberly; George (Barb) Bolwerk, West Bend; brother-in-law Dennis Van Dinter, Little Chute. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

      Bill is preceded in death by a daughter Nancy, a sister and brother-in-law Gertrude and Vincent Gloudemans; father and mother-in-law Peter L. and Jeanette Van Dinter; sister-in-laws Flo Bolwerk, Helen Bolwerk, and Sharon Van Dinter; brother-in-law Roger Van Dinter.

      The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, February 3, 11:30am, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Fr. Andrew Kysely officiating. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly. Family and friends may call at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, WI, on Monday, February 2, 3:00pm - 7:00pm, with a prayer service at 7:00pm, and again at church on Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Food Program, 1465 Opportunity Way, Menasha WI 54952, or , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
