    • Wolter, Robert J. “Bucky” Kimberly

      Age 78, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on February 11, 2005. He was born on August 23, 1926, son of the late William and Emma (Miller) Wolter. On July 12, 1952, he married A. Marie Lepak at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa. Bob served in the United States Navy for three years, working as an aircraft mechanic. He worked as a technician for 38 years for AT&T, “Ma Bell,” retiring on January 18, 1985. Bob was a devoted member of Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Name Campus, and served as an usher. Further, he was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus . He loved hunting, fishing, bowling and spending time at his cottage in Eagle River. His daily routine in Kimberly included walking down to the drug store to have his daily cup of coffee with his friends.

      Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marie; Children: John (Joyce) Wolter of Appleton and their children Kerianne and Chad, Patricia (Michael) Russo of Green Bay and their children Jerrad and Jamie, Diane (Boyd) Schnese-Brandon of Kimberly and their children Gregory and Timothy Schnese, Tom (Linda) Wolter of Appleton and their children Travis, Emily, Jake, Mackenzie and Krista, and Jim (Paula) Wolter of Kimberly and their children Ali and Annie; nieces: Mary (Bill) Taylor and Virginia Goetz; sisters-in-law: Caroline (Dave) Davidson, Patricia McPeak, Angie (David) Fincher, Sharon (Larry) Olson and Margie (Mike) Dearth; brothers-in-law: Tom (Rita) Lepak, Basil (Kathy) Lepak, Carl Lepak, Gabe (Mary) Lepak, Junior (Peggy) Lepak; and his little dog, Jenna. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marguerite (Edward) Goetz; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Angeline and Felix Lepak; son-in-law, Mark Schnese; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Jim Zielke; and a brother-in law, Mike McPeak.

      The funeral liturgy will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, HOLY NAME CAMPUS, Kimberly, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.

      The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital emergency room and I.C.U. for their compassionate care.

      A memorial fund in Bob’s name is being established.

      “We watched you grow so tired, Dad, with every passing day, and our hearts have grown more heavy as we saw you fade away. And then we knew the time had come for us to let you go, to say our last good-bye to you and say, “We love you so.”

      John, Pat, Diane, Tom and Jim want to especially thank their mom for the loving and dedicated care that she gave to our dad.
