      Mrs. Irvin [Genevieve] Scheffen

      Age 87, died Friday morning, January 1, 1993 in a local nursing home. She was born September 5, 1905 in Wrightstown, Wisconsin daughter of the late John and Caroline Weyenberg Williamsen. She married Irvin Sheffen on November 24, 1927 at St. Mary Catholic Church, De Pere.

      Survivors include her husband, Irvin; two sons and daughter in-law; John and Rita Scheffen, Lena; And Fred Scheffen, at home; a daughter and son in-law, Patricia and Cletus Bero, Green Bay; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; one brother and sister in-law; Arnold and Mildred Williamsen, De Pere; one sister, Nell Driessen, Little Chute; a sister in-law; Genevieve Williamsen; and a brother in-law, Killian Heim, both of Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

      Preceded in death by four sisters; Mary Rose, Angie Gillen; Johanna Heim and Min DeGroot; and two brothers; Bert Williamsen and Steve Williamsen.

      Friends may call at Schauer-Schumacher West, 838 S. Fisk St. from 4 until 9 Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday. Prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Msgr. Dennis Lally officiating.
