- Obit. De Pere Journal Democrat 7-13-1995 Mrs. Amede Vande Vyver, the former Helen Kettenhofen of Wrightstown, 72, 123 N. Washington st . Kimberly, died Thursday, July 6, while vacationing in Minnesota. Born in Wrightstown March 3, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Leone Krautkrame r Kettenhofen. She graduated from Wrightstown high school and from St. Mary School of Nursing , Green Bay, in 1944. she worked at St. Mary hospital in Green Bay, did private nursing an d also worked at St. Elizabeth hospital in Appleton. She retired as an industrial nurse at Ap pleton Papers. Mrs. Vande Vyver was a member of Holy Name parish in Kimberly, St. Mary Schoo l of Nursing Alumni, Mid Vallee golf course and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors are her husband to whom she was married Nov. 23, 1946 at the Cathedral in Green Bay ; three sons, Michael of Black Creek, Patrick and Thomas of Kimberly; six grandchildren; on e brother Robert Kettenhofen of Menasha and one sister Mrs. Lynes (Dorothy "Boots") Zelzer o f De Pere. She was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Elizabeth and one sister, Mrs. J oseph (Mary) Novitski. Funeral services were held Monday morning at Holy Name Catholic church in Kimberly with buria l in the parish cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
