    • Cindee (nee Peot) Van De Yacht, 43 years old, of 2725 Longview Lane, Suamico, died Sunday, feb. 6, 2000 at her home with her family at her side after a gallant two-year struggle with cancer.
      Cindee was born May 11, 1956 to Bob and Melodee (Casper) Peot. She married Nick Van De Yacht on Oct. 18, 1975.
      Cindee had worked for Peot Construction, Inc. for many years as payroll clerk until her illness. The most important things in her life were her husband, children, family, friends and new friends.
      She enjoyed her monthly gettogethers with her girlfriends from high school. Cindee loved to work in her flower gardens. "Volunteer" was Cindee's middle name. She was the secretary and sports banquet planner for St. John the Baptist Grade School Athletic Club for nine years.
      She was also an active member of Bay Port High School Athletic Club, organizing their sports banquets for six years. She also organized the raffle for Suamico Boys and Girts Softball tournaments for six years.
      Cindee formed the first annual Bay Port High School Softball tournament in 1997. In 1999, Cindee Was the Honorary Chairperson for the-Cancer Relay Walk.
      She is survived by her husband, Nick; her children, Carrie, Jessie and Nick and his fiancee Mary Ellen and son, Logan; her parents, Bob and Melodee Peot, Suamico; a sister and brother-in-law, Penne and Russ Chrisman; children, J.J. (godchild), Aimee and Alyssa, Suamico; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Cindy Peot and their sons, Jacob and Jesse (godchild), Suamico, her father-in-law, Bernard "Dutch" Van De Yacht, Howard; her grandfather, Dan Casper Sr., Ashwaubenon; her grandmother, Leone Peot, Green Bay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law, Bill and Bernadine (Wix) Van De Yacht, De Pere; Leo and Mary Van De Yacht, Suamico; Bob and Susie Van De Yacht, Diane and Chuck Tappa, Keri and Lyn Van De Yacht, all of Oneida; Gery and Carol Van De Yacht, Suamico; Kevin and Carol Van De Yacht, Oneida; Debbie and Dennis Kabara, Pulaski; Dawn and Rick Niemi, Green Bay; Donna and John Thorman, Havre De Grace, Md.; Bernie and Val Van De Yacht, N.       She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Violetta Van De Yacht; her grandmother, Jessie Casper-, and her grandfather, Robert Peot, Sr.
      Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 until 8 p.m. today. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 7 p.m. today. Friends may also call St., Benedict Catholic Church, 3370 Deerfield West, Suamico, from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m. W6dnesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Gary J. Dantinne officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
      Cindee's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Green Bay Oncology, Doctors Koch and McGovern, and nurses, Mary and Karen, Unity Hospice and Robin and Susan; her family, doctor, Dr. John Kiser; her sister-in-law, Susie Van De Yacht; her godmother, Aunt Corny.
      They would also like to thank all the members of their families and all their fiiends for- their care and support.
      In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Cindee's name.
