    • Barbara M. Porter, 94 years, passed away at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna on August 16, 2016. She was born January 25, 1922 to her loving parents David J. and Catherine (Kuborn) Porter in Kimberly, Wisconsin. She was a graduate of Kimberly High School and attended a business school in Milwaukee before she obtained work at Appleton Office Supply where she enjoyed 41 years of employment. She furthered her career by working at the Social Security Office for 5 years retiring in 1986.

      Barbara enjoyed travelling to Hawaii numerous times showing off her favorite island, Maui. She travelled to Alaska by cruise ship and basked in the cool nature around her.

      Barbara is survived by her loving friends Gloria K. Wocelka and Mary Jo Paltzer. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

      She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers John Porter, David (first wife: Rebecca Gochnauer) (second wife: Ruth Sieg) Porter, James (Mary Galpin) Porter and Frederick Porter.

      A Funeral Mass for Barbara will be at 11 am on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Holy Spirit - Kimberly Site, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly. Fr. Bob Kollath celebrant. Interment Holy Name Cemetery. Visitation Monday, August 22, 2016 from 10 am until time of Mass.

      Gloria Wocelka wanted to thank Barbara's caregivers at St. Paul Villa, St. Paul Nursing Home and St. Paul Eldercare Hospice for their loving care of her.
